Gifts that Give Back

This year our PTA has several fundraisers running in November and December to coincide with the holiday season and to help families with their holiday shopping!  Gifting through our Gifts that Give Back Holiday fundraiser is a gift to everyone at West View Elementary!

 

Below is a list of the six businesses we are partnering with so you can start thinking about your holiday list.  You may already be planning to purchase things like chocolates, coffee, and candles for someone on your holiday list.  Ordering from the below (mostly) local businesses gives a significant portion of the cost back to West View PTA and to Pittsburgh based businesses.

 

Prestogeorge Coffee & Tea (Orders Due Dec 2) – Prestogeorge offers an extensive selection of origins, roasts, blends, and flavors to suit every palate, along with the city’s most comprehensive collection of loose-leaf teas and herbs as well as biscotti!  Link to Images to share this fundraiser.   The top seller at West View Elementary will win a prize!

• This sale will be sent home to families as a paper form, or orders can be placed on West View PTA’s website (online option will include an upcharge to cover credit card fees).  
• Paper Order Forms are Due to School Office no later than December 2nd
• Pickup for orders will be at West View elementary on December 19th.  
• 50% of sales will be given back to West View PTA!

West View Elementary Ornaments (While Supplies Last) – Celebrating a Century of Excellence at West View Elementary, our 5th Grade class is selling Snowflake Ornaments for $8.  They will be on sale at Hilltop Lights on November 21st and on West View Light Up Night on December 5th.  The Gifts that Give Back fundraiser packet also includes a form that can be returned to the school office.  To see the ornament design or order online, please visit https://westviewpta.org/fundraiser/5th-grade-ornament-sale/ All profits from the ornament sale will benefit the 5th grade class in their final year at West View. 

Olive and Marlowe (Orders Due Dec 9) – Shop from a collection of small-batch, artisanal olive oils and balsamic vinegars.  Perfect for the cooks in your life as well as host gifts.  There is a wide variety of flavor profiles to enjoy on everything from salads and vegetables to pizza.  This is an online sale that foodies near and far can shop from the website www.oliveandmarlowe.com and ship their orders.  

• Our fundraiser will run November 17th-December 9th. 
• During Checkout, in the Additional Information “note” section, type “West View PTA” so that our PTA receives credit.
• 25% of online sales will be given to West View PTA!

PSquare Scents LLC (Orders Due Dec 12) – Located on Lincoln Avenue in Bellevue, they make a wide variety of home fragrances and bath and body items.  Orders can be placed on their website www.psquarescents.com  you can schedule a free local pick up at their storefront on Lincoln Avenue or ship orders to friends and family out of town.

• Our fundraiser runs from November 17th-December 12th. 
• During Checkout, add the coupon code “WestView” so that our PTA receives credit for your purchase.
• You can choose store pickup if you would like to pick it up in Bellevue at PSquare Scents, they will notify you when the order is ready.
• If you would like to pick your order up at West View Elementary School on 12/19, after selecting store pickup, in the “notes to PSquare section” type “Pickup at West View Elementary”  I will gather those order and have them at the school to distribute to parents on the evening of 12/19.
• 50% of online sales will be given to West View PTA!

Dave and Buster’s Power Cards (Orders Due Dec 12) – Looking for an experience gift?  This one is perfect for all ages! We will be selling Dave and Buster’s Power Cards worth $10 and $20 of arcade game play.  We’ll be hosting a spirit night on January 15th, so mark your calendars and buy your Power Cards now.  West View PTA will receive 50% back from each Power Card’s Value.   The top seller at West View Elementary will win a prize! • Pickup at West View elementary on December 19th for all orders. 

Happy Valley Soup Company (Orders Due Dec 13) – Made in Happy Valley Pennsylvania, these shelf stable soup kits are simple to cook but taste gourmet.  They make 2 quarts worth of soup and come in 16 varieties!  A brochure will be sent home, but all orders must be placed online through the below link for West View PTA to receive credit.  Order online https://fundraising.happyvalleysoupcompany.com/?fund=600 

• This sale is live now through December 13th. 
• You can ship orders to friends and family in other cities or ask local friends, family, and coworkers for orders and ship to your home or right to your office too! 
• 47% of sales will be given back to West View PTA!

Betsy Ann Chocolates (Orders Due Dec 15) – Founded in 1938 and is locally made in West View.  It makes the perfect gift for friends and family with a sweet tooth!  This is an online sale that those near and far can shop through the Betsy Ann website betsyann.com and to ship their orders.  A free local pickup option at the Betsy Ann factory (located in West View on Perry Highway) is also available to save on shipping.  If you would like a brochure to collect orders from coworkers or family before placing your online order, email fundraising@westviewpta.org and give your child’s name and homeroom and a brochure will be sent home with them.  The top seller at West View Elementary will win a prize!

•  Our fundraiser will run online from November 17th to December 15th.
• At checkout, note “WestViewPTA” along with your student’s name in the comments section.
• If you would like to pick your order up at West View Elementary School on 12/19, under WestViewPTA type “Pickup at West View Elementary”  I will gather those orders and have them at the school to distribute to parents on the evening of 12/19 from 6-7PM.  
• 35+% of online sales will be given to West View PTA!
